My World — 02
You can't out-train a bad diet. I figured that out early — and built a nutritional approach that has fueled a body most 40-year-olds would envy.
The Philosophy
I don't believe in magic foods or banned ingredients. I believe in understanding what your body needs, when it needs it, and learning to eat in a way you can sustain for life — not just until the next event.
After decades of refining what works, the system is simple: anti-inflammatory, whole foods, timed around training, with zero room for guilt.
Straight Talk
“I’m not here to tell you what to eat. But I will tell you what I do — and my body speaks for itself. Loudly.”
Look, everyone’s got an opinion on nutrition. Eat this, avoid that, count these, track those, download this app, follow this influencer who’s clearly never missed a donut in their life. Exhausting. So I’ll skip the lecture and just show you my plate.
Junk food? Gone. Not reduced, not “in moderation” — gone. No candy, no cookies, no bread, no cakes, no pastries, no chips. None of it. Do I miss it? Sure, the same way I miss traffic. Briefly, and then not at all.
Fat, on the other hand? Fat is my ride or die. Eggs, meat, avocado, real whole foods — when sugar is out of the picture, fat does something remarkable: it fuels you without becoming you. Your body actually knows exactly what to do with it. Turns out the low-fat craze of the 90s was just one long, nationwide experiment in feeling tired and hungry. Great decade for denim though.
I eat real food. That’s the whole secret. No spreadsheets, no meal kits, no powders that smell like chalk pretending to be chocolate.
You do whatever works for you. But if you’re curious what works for me — now you know. And yes, I do feel fantastic. Thanks for noticing.
